Letter #11 - SOL

Before I start blabbing I want to introduce my peeps in New York!

Lachie, our tour guide/Navman.

Joel, he knows everything, even if he has to make it up.

Nicole, you have to watch her, she is very cheeky.

Simon, he is the butter on our sandwich.

To whom it may concern,

The statue of liberty, a gift of friendship from the people of France to the people of the United States, a universal symbol of freedom and democracy.”

The cheap/free option to see the Statue of Liberty is to catch the ferry to Staten Island.

With the wind in our lungs and some salt in our hair we cruised right past the Statue of Liberty and hundreds of people lining up to see her. She is quite pretty.

We didn’t stick around to see what the island had to offer, nobody does. Tourists just use and abuse Staten Island to get a glimpse of the SOL.
